Welcome
Meridian Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital that opened as Vetcetera Animal Hospital in 2012 with a focus on alternative and holistic healing. Dr. Heather Sinclair purchased the practice in 2014, having successfully practiced an integrated approach to veterinary medicine at Haw Creek Animal Hospital since 2005. She brings that same approach to this hospital, providing a conventional approach to those cases that need it and complementary or alternative modalities where they will provide additional benefits or when a client is particularly interested in pursuing that approach. The hospital was renamed Meridian Animal Hospital in the fall of 2014.
Dr. Sinclair brings to this practice her reputation for affordable and compassionate small animal care. We work with dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, rabbits, rats, pocket pets, as well as other exotics and the occasional lizard or goat. And we see everything from wellness visits to routine medicine and dentistry, to urgent care and emergencies. Dr. Sinclair may also suggest or be willing to consider acupuncture, homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine, or other alternative or complementary modalities.
The hospital has a welcoming and comfortable reception area and waiting room, 3 exam rooms, a well-equipped surgery, an in-house laboratory and digital radiology. We also have a cold laser (used primarily for acupuncture) and a Theraplate (which is seeing great success in rehabilitating injuries, especially in the equine world).
Colby and Stilton, our resident chinchillas, will try to make your time in the waiting room entertaining!
